KompaniX is a product under development by WEBSHOT, a sole proprietorship in Sint Hubert, the Netherlands. WEBSHOT is the controller for the personal data processed through this website. Privacy questions go to the email address below.

What data we process
Waitlist: your name, email address, company name, industry and whatever you write in the message.
Contact form: your name, email address, phone number if you fill it in, and your message.
Website visits: our hosting platform briefly processes your IP address, browser type and the requested page in security and error logs. We set no analytics cookies and no marketing cookies.
Why, and on which legal basis
Waitlist: to inform you about the launch, the private beta and the price that applies to you. The legal basis is your consent; you withdraw it through the unsubscribe link in every message or by email.
Contact form: to answer your question and, if you want, to make a proposal. The legal basis is the preparation of a contract, or our legitimate interest in responding to questions.
Logs: to keep the website secure and working. The legal basis is our legitimate interest.
Who receives your data
The forms arrive in WEBSHOT’s own customer system, which runs on the same infrastructure as this website. The website and the forms are hosted by Cloudflare, under a data processing agreement and the European Union’s standard contractual clauses for any transfer outside the European Economic Area. Messages to you go through our email provider, also under a data processing agreement.
We do not sell data and do not share it with parties for their own marketing. We hand data to a public authority only when the law requires it.
How long we keep data
Waitlist: until the launch of KompaniX and at most twelve months after that, or earlier as soon as you unsubscribe.
Contact form without follow-up: six months after your last message. If you become a client, the retention periods of the contract apply, plus the statutory seven-year retention of business records.
Website logs: at most thirty days.
Security
The website and the forms run exclusively over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Only the owner has access to the data, with two-step verification. The data is stored in data centres in the European Union.
Cookies and local storage
This website sets no cookies. If you choose a light or dark theme, your browser remembers that choice in its local storage; it stays on your device and never reaches us. No consent is required for that.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase and restrict your data, to data portability, to object to processing based on legitimate interest, and to withdraw consent. Use the email address above for your request; we respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
Changes
We update this statement when the website or the processing changes; the date at the top shows the latest version. At the launch of the product there will be a separate privacy statement and a data processing agreement for KompaniX clients.
